How Transformation Cornwall Designs, Measures and Demonstrates Impact

At Transformation Cornwall, we believe the best projects are designed with people, not simply for people.

Our work begins by listening to people with lived experience, communities, frontline organisations and partners to understand what support is really needed. We use this evidence to co-design practical, collaborative solutions that respond to genuine need rather than assumptions.

Before delivery begins, we work with funders and partners to agree what success looks like, including project outcomes, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), responsibilities, evidence requirements and reporting arrangements. This ensures everyone understands what the project aims to achieve and how progress will be measured.

Throughout delivery we monitor progress, collect proportionate evidence, review performance and use learning to improve projects as they develop. At the end of each significant project we publish impact stories, share lessons learned and, where appropriate, undertake Social Value Assessment or Social Return on Investment (SROI) using recognised methodologies.

This approach helps us demonstrate not only what we delivered, but the difference it made for individuals, communities and Cornwall as a whole.
